Hi,
I forgot this part :
For our last day in Tokyo, Yuko´s mum took us to onsen, about 1 hour from Tokyo, not far from Mont Fuji. We had the chance to see Mont Fuji, the weather was nice and not cloudy. (usually very humid)
We took the cable car up to the top, there, we walked up to get closer to the onsen.
As you can see on pictures below, they carry up egg to boil them. The shell become black and japanese says that eating 1 egg add 7 years to your live ;)
Regarding the organisation :
We flight with SAS, it was ok but 10,5 hours from Copenhagen + 1,30 h form Narita airport to Claska hotel.
TOKYO
Claska Hotel is located in Meguro (not so much to do there). Very cosy hotel and the staff is Lovely. the room was VERY nice, each room has special design. The restaurant is VERY good, european food. At the 2 floor, there is a store. (you always have tooth brush, soap, shampoo and even Yukata in the room)
Cerulean Hotel in Shibuya. Very close to shibuya station, this is a luxury hotel and the view from the room is exceptionnal; to see the day and night light of Tokyo is an experience. Of course the price is high but if you can afford one night, it worth it.
KYOTO
Sakura Ryokan, this is a typical japanese hotel (more like a B&B) The staff is also very nice and helpful and speak very good english which is not the case everywhere.
The bedroom have tatami floor, futon bed you make yourself everyday and a small but practical bathrom. The location is next to Kyoto station and you can take the bus or rent a bike (you took the bus then rent a bike)
NAGOYA
We spent only one night in Nagoya and stayed at the Nagoya B´. This is a hotel chain, very good standard and always clean, very central as well.
